"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!" Psalm 133:1
This month Cornerstone church has been focusing on the subject of Unity.
When we hear the word Unity we think of a group of people united by the same passion, values, and purposes. People walking in the same direction. People united by a common identity.
Ideally, Community suggests a well planned and safe place to grow together, to raise children, and educate them in the knowledge of Christ. The Church is God's Gated Community!
Satan tries to disrupt the Unity within God's Community but Matthew 16:18 says, "And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it." There's nothing that the enemy can do or say that can tear down this Christ established Community!
Unity is a powerful tool in the kingdom of God. "When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place." Acts 2:1 It is always the work of the Holy Spirit that brings Unity among members in the church Community.
